Tony Takitani

On Wednesday 3 March, Toni Takitani (directed by Jun Ichikawa with Issei Ogata, Rie Miyazawa and Hidetoshi Nishijima) will kick things off.

Tony Takitani, a technical illustrator, has been living a lonely and seemingly unmoved life for forty years. When he meets the beautiful Eiko one day, a new world of emotion opens up for him, although her obsession with designer clothes worries him. When she suddenly disappears from his life, he is left completely distraught… with a gigantic wardrobe.
