Saturday March 6th we will be presented with “Left Handed” (Laurence Thrush, 2008). This film is about the world-famous psycho-social phenomenon of the hikikomori.
Japanese society is plagued by an estimated one million young people who isolate themselves completely from their environment in their room or elsewhere.
“Left Handed” tells the story of a boy and his mother who have to endure it all from the other side of the bedroom door. The documentary style is a hit and hits.
