TAMALA 2010: A Punk Cat in Space

The festival closes on Saturday at 10:30 pm with an anime film “Tamala 2010: a punk cat in space” (Tol, 2003).

It is the year 2010 on the cat planet. The influence of Meguro City, a megalopolis managed by the super-cooperative Catty & Co, is noticeable throughout the space system. Tamalo, a 1-year-old cat, decides to leave this bitter reality and goes in her spaceship in search of the planet where she originally came from.

It is the first animated film to be constructed using the bézier curve technology, whatever that means.
