Motion Graphics Short Films – GEIDAI Tokyo Univ.

Saturday 25/03/2017 – 2:30 PM

This year we have selected 7 short films from the Tokyo University of Arts*.

Your offspring will be moved for 50 minutes by various animation films.
(age +- 4-14 years)

  • “JAPANESE CHESS” Moe KURIBARA
  • “Dozing on Doomsday” Kaori RYO
  • “At The Mouth Of Summer” Xinxin LIU
  • “Brick Games” Man Yee LAM
  • “JADE” Yume UKAI
  • “first hand memories” Haruka UMEMURA
  • “Milky Ways” Honami YANO

Think of:

  • a funny video where colorful dolls, made of cotton wool, play a game of chess
  • an ordinary day, that may not be so ordinary after all.
  • a summer day with cheerful music and fuchsia dolls dancing and swimming
  • an evening where you can’t sleep and a game of Jenga offers solace
  • a green hummingbird that keeps a sad girl company
  • the first memories that each of us has and which your little sprout is now experiencing
  • the diligent milkman who, after the loss of his wife, is joined by a little bird.

Each and every one of them is a gem for a fun movie afternoon with your offspring.

After the screening, everyone can join in at the craft tables in the Studio Skoop café.
Where we help with origami folding, offer Japanese crafts, everyone can fish for a Japanese present and make their own animation films.
