An absurd Japanese triptych about sex, food as an aphrodisiac, and hidden desires.

Natto, Mapo Tofu, and Ramen With Extra Back Fat each get their turn in a series of unique vignettes reminiscent of the famous “egg segment” with Koji Yakusho from Juzo Itami’s Tampopo. Not so much an erotic film in the traditional sense of the word, but one that sublimely succeeds in suggesting certain sexual acts and situations through sensual close-ups while enjoying popular Japanese dishes. #foodporn
