Ito

Ito Soma grew up in the countryside of Tsugaru in northern Aomori. Thanks in part to her late mother and grandmother, she has become a talented shamisen player, but she does not show it to the outside world. Nevertheless, she wants to overcome her introversion and shyness, and see more of the world. One day, she reads an advertisement for a maid café in Aomori City, and sets out to explore.

A heartwarming and intriguing coming-of-age film with realistic performances and compelling music that connects the traditional with the contemporary.
