This year, there is also a classic on the program. And this classic is about as old as it gets. Directly from the Royal Belgian Film Archive, we are proudly presenting Castle of Wind and Clouds.
This silent film from 1928, directed by Toko Yamazaki, will be shown on Saturday accompanied by a live musical score (guitar) composed by Alexander Makay.

Castle of Wind and Clouds is a beautiful example of the Japanese jidai-geki (historical drama) genre. The film tells the story of a samurai who returns to his homeland after three years, only to his great displeasure discovering that his fiancée has become the prince’s concubine.
We are honored to offer you this unique experience as part of our 15th edition and sincerely hope you can join us.
