Tickets & Rates
Tickets can be purchased online, directly via Studio Skoop or via the related link from our own website. All purchases are final. Purchased tickets cannot be taken back.
When ordering your ticket(s) online on the Studio Skoop website, you will first see a ticket price that is half a euro lower, but – don’t worry – at the end it will be added (per ticket) under the heading “handling fee”.
General rate (film screening): 12 euros
Reduced rate (film screening): 10 euros
Saturday afternoon animation films: 8 euros
Reduced rates apply to:
The occasional “meal + film” tickets can be purchased via the same route, and the total price depends on the chosen meal. The meals are usually served in the Skoop Café. Book quickly (combination ticket meal + film), because the number of meals is limited. And no, sorry, you cannot book a meal without also purchasing a film ticket.
At the opening reception you pay 6 euros for a “trio sake” and 5 euros for a “sushi boat”. Reservations for these are not possible. Available while supplies last!
Regarding the language of the film screenings: original versions with English subtitles, except “My Sunshine” and “Castle of Wind and Clouds”: Dutch/French subtitles.
As always, the films are professionally introduced (in Dutch), and this year we have been able to secure the following speakers: Luk Van Haute, Tim Deschaumes and Floor Meesen!
Photographer Rob Walbers, who traded Overpelt for Tokyo a few years ago, once again provided the poster image for the Japan-Square Film Festival this year.
